Our country is in the verge of
making the young adults be a part of the great leap we are experiencing right
now. The youth becoming more intelligent, aware and aggressive; they tend to
become more expressive of their actions, no matter what aspect it may be. It is
good news that they are engaging in the world of politics and community
service.
Many youth organizations of today
make the best or even the worst of our youth; teaching them the value of
genuine public service and molding their hearts with profound leadership. On
the other hand, there is one thing that may seem very important but is just not
given importance and often being neglected to teach to the youngsters. It is the great power of prayer. Keeping the
idea of having faith to the Almighty is I guess the most important thing of
all.
All the knowledge and skills acquired and present
to these young people is useless if not used for the greater glory of the Lord.
Inculcating this value to them would certainly lead them to what we call pure
and pristine leadership.
I commend those youth orgs who have
this mission; to serve through following the footsteps of Jesus Christ. I may
sound corny but this is the real truth. I am not saying that you join those
orgs but what I am saying is that, let us not forget those very first and
little things that our parents, and our church leaders have taught us.
We may know how to speak in front
of a large crowd, manage to facilitate a successful event, or lead an army of
followers. Though this will give us the attention that we want to have, or get
the fame and position that we aspire, but it will never add up to our being if
we do not do this for His glory. Let us remember, we can make people hear, but
not listen and we can make them follow, but not believe.
We may learn to be living examples
of what a true leader must be. Living our faith is a requirement.
Come to think of it…

Excellently written. You have a way with words that make it easy to read while being loaded with information and thoughts at the same time. Looking forward for more posts in the future.
